Any cruiser/racer with better performance !

We are very proud with our performance in the few races we have done. Maybe its good for us that we don't do more races as our win rate would have gone done -:) .We had a very though time ahead of the last race as we found that the rig was about to come down. Massive work performed by our friends at Elvstrom Norway (www.elvstrom-sobstad.no) and some help from X-Yachts and Arve Roaas enabled us to start the race. A little bit of stress as the boat was ashore 4 ahead of the start. The great crew in HH Skagen Race were: Gjermund Lover, Morten Hansen, Kjetil Stubberud, Morten Christensen, Mads Christensen, Ole Petter Christensen, Frederik Fogstad, Asbjorn Thorup, Arve Roaas and Henning Hansen. A quite fast race with perfect conditions for piXeline.
We do look forward to the Ferder Race and to the Watski Two Star race. The boat and all equipment are in perfect shape and should be very competitive.
9 entries and 6 wins !

Our results have been:
Hovdan Skagen Race 2005 - 2nd in class
Færder race 2005 - 1st in class
Watski Two Star 2005 - 1st in class
Hovdan Skagen Race 2006 - 1st in class and overall
Færder race 2006 - 1st in class
Watski Two Star 2006 - 5th in class
Færder race 2007 - DNF -:(
Watski Two Star 2007 - 1st in class and overall
Helly Hansen Skagen Race - 1st in class

Helly Hansen Skagen Race

Great sailing conditions for piXeline. No major hickups, perfect wheather routing performed by Mads Christensen (www.frivind.no)and as always great contribution by our sailing master, Arve Roaas. Competed with a Baltic 52 which also was our closest competitor in last year Watski Two Star.

Winter has passed away. 24 days to racing again !

The winter is long and it's difficult to get awards and attention from media and press. During winter we have thought got some. A long interview with our sailing master in Seilmagasinet (www.seilmagasinet). He talked about racing Volvo Ocean Race , Farr 40 racing and the years of sailing with the King of Norway on Fram. We were very happy to notice that he explicitly mentioned that racing with piXeline is great fun. Currently he is coaching the Norwgian olympic star sailors in Miami. We also won the winter picture competition in Seilas (www.seilas.no). The winner picture was taken when we sailed the boat from Gothenburg to Oslo in November a couple of years ago. It's only 24 days til the start of Helly Hansen Skagen Race and we are not yet ready for that. Several minor projects are under way and will be finished before start. Below some of the clippings from magazines.
